About Paperly
An open repository for screened research manuscripts.
Aims and scope
Paperly is an open repository for research manuscripts. Authors deposit a manuscript; it receives a permanent Paperly identifier of the form PLY-YYYY-XXXXXX and a public landing page once published.
Paperly accepts work from any research field. Every manuscript goes through automated screening, an editorial check and peer review before it can be published. Peer review is not a statement that the research is correct, and a record is shown as peer reviewed only when completed reviews are recorded for it.
A record is shown as peer reviewed only when at least one completed peer review is recorded for it. Its record type is shown on every article page.

How it works
Paperly is a peer-reviewed journal. Every journal article is assessed by independent reviewers, and a human editor makes the final decision. The review status of each record is shown on its page; preprints and repository records are labelled as not peer reviewed.
Manuscripts are screened automatically, read by a human editor and, for journal articles, peer reviewed. Each record states its type and review status. See the editorial board, the fees page and the policies.
