Appeals policy

Challenging an editorial decision.

An author who disagrees with a rejection can write to the editorial office, giving reasons. There is no automated appeal form. An administrator may reopen the manuscript for a fresh editorial decision, which the platform records as an override with a stated reason. An appeal does not guarantee a different outcome.
