Research integrity policy

Automated screening looks for missing declarations, statistical or methodological concerns, high textual overlap and attempts to manipulate the screening model. Each finding is a prompt for a human to look. None is a finding of misconduct.

Where an editor believes misconduct may have occurred, the matter is handled through the corrections and retraction processes. Paperly does not currently run formal investigations of institutions or authors.
